The First Nations Land Trust was formally established in January 2006 as a registered non-profit society in the Province of British Columbia. The Board of Directors are Indigenous people who share a concern for the endangered habitat and threatened species who live upon or around it.

The intent of creating the society is to preserve, protect and enhance the quality of the human and natural environment as well as promoting land stewardship and natural habitat for present and future generations...

OUR MISSION

Our overall mission is to expand beyond the basic premise of educating communities about the diverse and endangered species of flora and fauna. We need to educate everyone to enable greater protection of the land and species at risk to enable re-balancing the Earth. The need for this education is great as there is general lack of enabling protection of lands and habitat of endangered species and the importance thereof. More particular to protect is the vast amount of precious knowledge and experience of Indigenous peoples...
